complex, post 9/11 society. He has created a
participatory and exploratory space for
students, faculty, and community members to
consider the notion of public rituals and
the ways in which they can begin to make a"
We out of Me, Mine, and I.” Gamo Da Paz,
an expert in Candomblé traditions, was asked
to open Stanford’s Arts and Ideas Lab with a
traditional Candomblé Ritual and song.
